Bedhampton Mariners Cricket Club was founded in 1872, with the merger of Bedhampton CC and The Mariners CC. We’re a friendly, well-run club with close ties to the local community. We have four Saturday teams competing in the Hants Cricket League and a Sunday friendly XI that enjoys fixtures across Hampshire, West Sussex and Dorset. We also enter three teams into the Fareham Indoor League over the dark winter months. We play home fixtures at Bidbury Mead, one of the most scenic and bustling village commons in Hampshire and situated in the heart of Old Bedhampton, a conservation area. Third- and fourth-team Saturday home fixtures take place just up the road at Hollybank Recreational Ground.

We are looking to establish a colts team in 2018, and we will be able to offer training sessions over the summer for young cricketers with club members who hold the England Cricket Board coaching badges.

During the season we organise outdoor practice sessions for adults on Thursdays (6:00 pm start) and run weekly nets from January until the start of the season. We try to keep our subs and membership fees as low as possible.

The club is affiliated to the Hampshire Cricket Board and Havant Borough Sport Association and is a long-standing member of the Hants Cricket League. We regularly welcome the Hants Ladies Softball Festival to our ground (they visited us on Friday 15 June 2018) and have close ties to a number of local teams, especially Havant Wednesday CC and Raymarine CC. We are proud to be sponsored by Smith Brothers Marine Ltd.

We always keen to welcome new players of all abilities and ages and we aim to reply to website inquiries within 24 hours.
